in 1956 and soon became the best-selling
travel guidebook in publishing history to
that time. While continuing to revise and
publish this signature guide for 30 consecutive
years, he built a series of guides that now
numbers more than 300 titles covering all
of the world's travel destinations. He
is the founder of the phenomenally successful Arthur
Frommer’s
Budget Travel magazine, and
served as its Editor-in-Chief for the first
six
years of its existence. He
writes numerous magazine articles on a
broad variety of travel subjects, as
well as a syndicated weekly national newspaper
column for
King
Features. Mr Frommer joined the SATW Institute faculty for the second time in 2005, having served on the faculty of the 3rd annual Institute in 1998. |
