Darlyn Finch

Institute Orlando Cultural Liaison

Darlyn Finch is a graduate of Rollins College, pursuing her Master of Fine Arts degree at Spalding University.

She has published stories and poems in literary journals and online, and articles in the Jacksonville Journal and Orlando Sentinel.

She was interviewed and read her poetry on National Public Radio.

Darlyn served on the editorial staff of Brushing magazine.

She is a repeat winner at the Mt. Dora Festival of Art and Literature. She writes Scribbles, a literary newsletter, and sunscribbles.com.

Darlyn is the current writer-in-residence at the Jack Kerouac house. Her book, Red Wax Rose, comes out in February, 2007.
