Registration & Fees

The institute is limited to 60 registrants,
first-come, first-served.   

Tuition fee for the January 2009 Institute is $395 for the general public, or $295 for members of the Society of American Travel Writers current on their dues.

The fee includes:

— Admission to the dinners on Friday and Saturday evenings

— 15 hours of instruction (approximately) during workshop sessions on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday

— Four meals: two lunches and two dinners

Lodging and transportation are not included in the tuition fee, and are the responsibility of registrants on their own.

Lodging at the host hotel is encouraged for the sake of convenience, but is not required.

The annual SATW Institute for Travel Writing and Photography is presented by the Society of American Travel Writers in cooperation with the Orlando Downtown Development Board and the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
